Tratasse de uma história linda.

Sobre uma mulher chamada Leigh Anne Tuohy (Sandra Bullok) que resolve cuidar de um menino-grande e ao mesmo tempo, um grande-menino Michel Oher (Quinton Aaron).

Michel, sabe muito pouco sobre sua família, mas sabe muito da realidade nas ruas. Leigh, sabe muito pouco sobre o tal mundo com o qual Michel esta acostumado.

Mas quando os dois se encontram, ele encontra um lar. E ela uma nova oportunidade de amar um novo filho e um novo irmão. 

Ela lê histórias para ele.
